Alien Encounter in Port Charlotte, Florida on 2018-06-12 21:45:00 – lightning struck, and a blob

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

I was heading southward drving my kia optima on the 41, lightning struck, and a blob shaped like half a christmas tree and about 200′ in length was in the sky, black as night, not a shadow i think. i noticed it out of muy periphery first due to its enormous size and odd shape it was huge…And in the air. saw it only for a second or two. it was stationary i think but did not see it twice so it may have moved aafter i saw it. i was not afraid, nor stunned, i have heard about the blob as seen in 2002 off florida and this was a lot smaller. i thought i should report it due to its proximaty to myself. i passed the blob, and lost sight due to improper lighting and being out of range, hopefully, as i could not see it later when lightning struck again,a s i was looking. yes. i have not seen a blob personally before, but i have heard stories that it is a being and is dangerous, so i did not approach it or seek it out. another car was right behind me, i think the saw it too.
