UFO Sighting in East Kilbride, Scotland on 2019-01-01 20:43:00 – Perceived as very large nebulous boomerang shape reflecting city lights on leading edge

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

I was out in my garden enjoying looking at the stars on a still cloudless night and saw a large hazy shape crossing the sky. it appeared to be reflecting the street lights (there is a lot of light pollution over my town since it is just south of glasgow. the craft (if it was was one) moved silently in a straight line. i observed it for around 15 seconds before it want behind the roof of my neighbours home. i went to the front of my home to see if i could continue observing it but lost sight of it.

i have never seen anything like this. i am a 66 year old engineer with an interest in aircraft but know of no aircraft like this.

i regularly look at the stars and we have numerous aircraft that cross the skies so i know what the look like and there were a number of aircraft flying that night. this was no ordinary aircraft.
