UFO Sighting in Hamilton, Ontario on 2008-07-08 15:05:00 – 40 feet diameter sphere. metallic or mirror appeared out of thin air then slowly moved north before gradually ascending upward till out of sight

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

I was sitting in my van in the parking lot of my building. i exited the van and proceeded to attempt to light a cigarette. was very windy but completely clear sky. beautiful day. i noticed a small flash or glint in the sky out of the corner of my eye, immediately looked up, but saw nothing. i returned to trying to light my cigarette, another small spark in the sky. i thought it was something in my eye and proceeded to rub my right eye. shrugged it off and tried lighting the cigarette again. saw another flash or spark and immediately looked up and saw a 40-50 foot metallic or mirrored or glass orb appear out of thin air and travel north on my street about 10 – 20 feet above the telephone poles moving very slowly. cars were traveling directly beneath it in both directions but somehow failed to notice it. i watched it in total shock as it traveled north and then slowly changed direction and traveled upward in a 45 degree angle until it was gone. totally flabbergasted i ran into the apartment and told my spouse. then felt foolish having absolutely no evidence of the encounter. i couldn’t get the vision out of my head. about a week later, i was reading the newspaper and came across an article about the exact same object spotted in winnipeg. cannot rid this vision from my mind. please help
