UFO Sighting in Hayward, California on 2017-08-24 21:35:00 – Object appeared to be “tumbling”.

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

Observing the sky from rear deck of house, using a good pair of 7×50 binoculars.
object appeared from the nw, travelling at medium speed. object appeared to brighten then dim, several times becoming invisible, then become visible, then become dimmer, then very bright again. there was no regular sequence to the “bright and dim”
my impression was that it was an irregular shaped object, that was not rotating, but tumbling. which also means, to me, that it was high enough to be reflecting sunlight.
object continued this pattern until it faded from view to the south.

my impression was that it was not an “intelligently controlled craft”, but most likely a piece of space debris.
