UFO Sighting in Mansfield, Ohio on 1972-07-04 18:01:00 – I was a kid and in the backseat and my parents in front seat, and suddenly a big airplane type thing was hovering over our car and my dad told me not to look at it, i looked up and seen several flashing bright colors, this happened on july 4.

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

I was a kid and i was sitting in backseat of car and my parents were in the front seat, suddenly a airplane or something hovered over our car while my dad was driving, he told me not to look at it, but i did. this airplane like object was very close to the roof of our car and i looked at it and saw several bright flashing lights and it was kinda scary because i knew that airplanes never flew that low. the object hovered over our moving car for several long seconds where i was able to get a really good look at it. then next thing i knew we arrived at our destination which was arlin field to join a group of people to watch the fireworks because it was the 4th of july. the entire time i thought this airplane object would return so the other people would also see it, but it never did.
