UFO Sighting in New Paris, Indiana on 2018-05-27 20:17:00 – Object passed below & behind aircraft with very bright, pulsating light that changed colors.

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

I was plane spotting on my patio with my binoculars. i was watching qantas flight qfa12 passing almost directly overhead, at 38,000 ft., from jfk to lax. when the aircraft was almost directly above me, i noticed an object enter my field of vision from the north. the object initially looked red, but seemed to be strobing an incredibly bright light, that alternated between white, red, and purple. the object clearly passed below the contrail of the qantas jet. at first it appeared that the object was tumbling, and that the strobe effect was caused by the late afternoon sunlight reflecting off of it. however, it suddenly changed course, and slowly proceeded due east of my position, and the strobing effect continued. i checked my flightradar24 app, and there were no other aircraft shown in the immediate vicinity (at that moment). i tried to observe it with the naked eye, to see if i could film it with my phone, but i could not see it without the binoculars. i very easily found it again with the binoculars, because it was still strobing the bright light(s) and traveling very slowly to the east. as another aircraft approached from the east, i momentarily lost track of the object, but easily found it again. i watched it for at least 10 minutes or more until it slowly faded from view, still eastbound. i have been plane spotting for years, and i have never observed anything like this. it is unlike anything i’ve ever seen before, and i have no explanation for what i saw.
