The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:
on 10/24/18 at 6:30 pm i decided to take my canon camera outside in order to photograph the full moon. while in my backyard waiting for moon rise i noticed what i thought were two bright stars in the southern sky. i thought it was strange that they were so bright already as the sun had just set. i soon began to realize that one of them was slowly moving away from the other. i watched intensely and even tried to snap a photograph however the camera was set up for a moon shot so i’m sure nothing will show. suddenly one of the “stars” (the moving one) blinked out. it was there and then not there in a flash. the other one remained in the sky and so i’m not sure exactly what that one was.
i watch and photograph the sky quite a bit but have never seen anything quite like this. does anyone know what i just saw? do orbiting satellites suddenly blink out?
