A fresh witness account has come to light in a new book and footage where a cop claims he was on duty on the night it happened.

In July 1947 Sheriff Jess Slaughter and Deputy Sheriff Charles Fogus were on duty in a patrol car.

Suddenly they heard reports of a crashed aircraft on the police radio.

In the interview Mr Fogus claims he saw a flying saucer smash into the side of a river bed and that the flying object was “100ft across”.

Describing the scene, he said: “When we got there, the land was covered with soldiers. They were hauling a big, creature.

“The bodies must have been 5 feet tall.

“I saw the legs and feet on some of them. They looked like our feet.”

Mr Focus continued: “The skin was a brownish colour…. Like they were in the sun too long.

“There were soldiers there….about 3 or 4 hundred of them.

“We seen them haul them [the bodies] out there, out of the canyon up to the trucks….puttin them on the tow trucks so they could haul them.”

In July 1947 the military sensationally announced in a press release it had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the desert.

But the following day it retracted the statement, saying it was in fact a damaged US Air Force air balloon.

The Roswell incident is one of the most discussed and controversial UFO theories in history.

Witnesses later claimed they had seen alien bodies within a crashed craft.

The strange corpse was taken with the wreckage to the mysterious top-secret Area 51 military base in Nevada.

The closely-guarded nature of Area 51 adds to the intrigue of a site long associated with UFO conspiracy theories.

The base, about 80 miles from Las Vegas, is thought to be used for the development and testing of experimental aircraft.

Many conspiracy theorists claim it has been used for reverse engineering of the alleged crashed alien spacecraft at Roswell.

The two men, who were travelling to Roswell, New Mexico, decided to investigate and stumbled across the scene of one of the most famous UFO incidents in history.

While the US military have long claimed the crashed object was merely a weather balloon, conspiracy theorists believe the site was the scene of at least one alien aircraft crash and the recovery of extraterrestrials.

In a new book, UFOs TODAY – 70 Years of Lies, Misinformation and Government Cover-Up, law enforcement officer Fogus reveals he saw a downed flying saucer and military personnel removing a number of alien bodies from the scene.

He says after about 20 minutes they were told to leave the scene and so continued on their journey to collect the prisoner.

Asked what he thought of what he saw, he said: “The Great Father didn’t just make this planet…. He made all of them. He put beings on these planets just like he put us on this one. They’re smarter then we are.

“They can get from there to here, but we can’t get from here to there.”

The Daily Mirror has been passed a transcript of an interview between Deputy Sheriff Fogus of Howard County, Texas, and Los Angeles private investigator Deanna Short by the book publisher Philip Mantle, a former Director of Investigations for the British UFO Research Association.

He said: “Deanna recorded the interview on video and later had a transcript done of the interview and completed her Agency report to verify facts at that time related to Charles Forgus and Sheriff Jess Slaughter – both of Howard County, Texas.

“Both were there and were on an overlook to view the crash scene recovery by the Army.

“I should note that according to Deanna’s daughter Mackenzie, Charles made a special effort to note to Deanna “not to believe what others will say – he and the Sheriff did witness the Roswell crash scene”. They had heard about the crash on the police radio which enabled them to find the location.

“It is rare that anyone new adds anything to the Roswell event from an eye witness point of view.

“If you treat the Roswell UFO crash as a ‘cold case’ investigation then new testimony like this can be invaluable.

“It could confirm what other witnesses have previously said or it could be another potential witness that has been eliminated from the enquiry.

“So either way it is an invaluable piece of information. To have it on video as well is a real luxury. I remain open minded on this gentleman’s testimony but we hope that by making it public that others might be able to assist us in our investigations.

“I dare say many of those that know far more than me about the Roswell Incident will write it off as it does not fit the known Roswell crash scenario.

“All I will say is that I am working to try and find any more information and I leave this ‘Roswell File’ open. If anyone reading this has any information concerning the Roswell Incident we urge them to get in touch.”

Questioner: What I’m trying to do is pierce together……

CF: I was working for the Sheriff of. I was a Deputy there for Sheriff Slaughter, was back in the 40s. We went to Roswell to pick up a prisoner. When we got there, the land was covered with soldiers. They were hauling a big, a creature. Hauling him away.

What I seen of him looked just like the one we see on television, with big eyes. There was a big round thing in the canyon. It was about 100 feet across. They put that on a truck and hauled it away. They wouldn’t let us get very close to it either. So we headed up to get the prisoner in Roswell and back to.

Q: So you were on your way from to Roswell to pick up a prisoner and you happened to be at that place……

CF: It already had crashed. They were taking them out. There were soldiers there….about 3 or 4 hundred of them. They wouldn’t let you get very close. They were keeping all the people away. People were coming out there.

Q: What did the saucer (we’ll call it) look like?

CF: It was a big round thing. Across the middle it was about 100 feet.

CF: No, they went out when it banged into the wall in the creek. It was like a mountain on the side of the creek.

Q: Did you see any creatures: How many did you see?

CF: Yeh, I saw them. I think I seen about four (of them).

Q: Were they covered up?

CF: Mostly. I saw the legs and feet on some of them.

Q: What did the feet look like? Do you remember?

CF: They looked like our feet.

Q: Could you figure how tall they were? They were laying flat, Right?

CF: Yeh, There is one thing I do remember. The Great Father didn’t just make this planet…. He made all of them. He put beings on these planets just like he put us on this one. They’re smarter then we are. They can get from there to here, but we can’t get from here to there.

(Note: CF is rather deaf. He wears two hearing aid appliances in this ears, so he answers my questions as follows

Q: Why do you think they’re here then?

CF: I don’t know where they hauled them. They might have hauled them to the hospital or somewhere.

Q: How long were you and Sheriff Slaughter at that site after you arrived?

CF: About 30 Minutes?

Q: Did you tell anyone about it?

CF: The Army was there and military soldiers were there.

Q: Did they tell you not to say anything?

CF: No, they didn’t tell me nothing’. They wouldn’t let you get close to ‘em.

Q: Did they actually see you observing what was going on?

CF: Sure, they saw me lookin’ at them.

Q: And they didn’t tell you to not say anything…..

CF: No, They wouldn’t let us get close to them. We were about 10 away.

Q: You were that close?

CF: We might have been further away. I didn’t have glasses then, I could see pretty good.

Q: What was your official capacity then?

CF: I was a Deputy The County Seat was I was riding with the Sheriff when we went to get the prisoner.

He didn’t order nobody except me to go with him. The UFO was already down when we got there. We went and got the prisoner afterwards. We heard about it on the radio.

Q: What did you hear on the radio?

CF: That the thing had crashed.

Q: But they didn’t know what ‘the thing’ was?

CF: No. But you would think that when people hear something like this, it scares the heck out of them. This came out of the police radio. We were on the way through there (to pick up the prisoner) when we heard it on the police radio. It was a big distance from to Roswell…you can look on a map and see it.

Q: So let me ask you this. When you guys were driving down the road and you were listening to the police radio……

CF: Yeh…..

Q: Do you remember what was said on the radio about whatever it was… Do you recall?

CF: All I remember is they said that a saucer crashed out there in the canyon.

Q: They actually said the word ‘saucer’?

CF: They can call it a saucer if they want to but there ain’t a big enough cup of coffee for that thing.

Q: How long do you think you were at the site?

CF: Probably about 20 minutes. We seen them haul them (the bodies) out there, out of the canyon up to the trucks….puttin them on the tow trucks so they could haul them.

Q: Did anyone try to get you to leave the scene.

CF: No….they told the Sheriff that we had to go. That was good enough for us….He’s the boss.

Q: When they were taking the beings, we’ll call them beings, were the beings laying on the ground around the saucer?

CF: Yeh, they were lifting them up with a crane that they had and picking them up and swinging them to put them on the truck. The bodies must have been 5 feet tall.

Q: Did you see the heads?

CF: Yeh….they were covered. They eyes looked like the ones we see on television and the pictures of them.

Q: What color was the skin?

CF: As much as I could tell….the skin was a brownish color…. Like they were in the sun too long.

Q: From the time it crashed until the time you got there, do you know how much time went by? From the time you heard it on the police radio until you got there?

CF: About two hours.

Q: Did you see any writing or engraving on the saucer?

CF: I wasn’t that close to it?

Q: If you were say 12 feet away from the beings, how far were the beings away from the saucer. Were they thrown pretty far?

CF; We couldn’t see that well because of the trees. It was in a riverbank. It slammed into a river bank. I say them lifting one up with the crane.

Q: Did anyone else talk to you about what was going on?

CF: There were some solders, but I don’t think they were from the Air Force.

Q: Where do you think they were from then?

CF: I don’t know. They were wearing uniforms. I didn’t pay no attention cause I just wanted to go with the Sheriff to get the heck out of there before something happened.

Q: When you guys were in the car to go pick the guy up, did you discuss or talk about what you had seen with the Sheriff?

CF: No. I didn’t know what they were and he didn’t either or where they came from or nothin.

Q: Did you see any blood on the bodies?

CF: I don’t know…. I guess they were dead.

Q: You’re 81 years old now. When and where were you born?

CF: I was born in I don’t know what city.

Q: You have been in the army?

CF: I sure have, before I became a Deputy Sheriff.

Q: So when this thing at Roswell happened, you were already out of the Army and were a Deputy Sheriff. That happened in 1947. Now it’s 1999. That was 52 years ago, Charlie. And you still remember it clearly?

Q: Has anyone ever talked to you or asked you to talk about what happened…like to the Government, cause there’s a lot of research going on now because of the cover-up.

CF: There was one that came around, and I told him to shut up and not come around. I don’t know who they were. That was when I was Deputy Sheriff.

Q: When you saw the saucer, can you remember in your mind what it looked like. Can you draw it?

CF: No….you draw it?

(Note: Charlie had the interviewer draw because he broke his arm and can’t use it). He directed her to draw a circle (not an oval). Then he directed her to draw another circle with the circle. This was a drawing of the top of the saucer. Charlie was standing on top of the opposite side of the bank of the dry creek bed where the saucer had crashed.

Q: Were you standing above it?

CF: I was standing on the back side. The saucer hit the bank on this side of the creek and I was standing on the other side of the bank, at the top of the hill. I was looking down at the site.

Q: So you had a ‘bird’s eye view‘, that’s why you were able to see the top of it?

CF: I didn’t have a ‘bird’s eye, I’ve got my own eyes (he laughs)

CF: Probably about 20 feet above it.

Q: So, that’s why you saw the top (of the saucer). And you say, that from here to here (across the top of the saucer – diameter) is about 100 feet.

CF: It was evenly round.

Q: So it was absolutely round…. Not oval shaped and you were 20 feet above it, that’s why you saw the top. Did you see the fingers and hands?

CF: No, they were covered up. But I saw the head.

Q: But you said you saw the feet.

CF: Yeah, later on, when they were passing by I saw the feet. I could see them lifting it up with the crane. They wouldn’t let you close enough when they were puttin’ them into the truck. When they were liftin’ them on the crane you could see them layin’ on that thing.

Q: You said the body was covered. Were the arms layin on the stomach under the cover?

CF: When the wind blew, the cover went back so you could see the face. The same way with the feet.

For years, the Roswell UFO incident has been dismissed by the U.S. government as just a case of a crashed weather balloon used in a military experiment. However, ufologists have always claimed of an actual alien spaceship crash, even going as far as accusing of a massive government cover-up to suppress the real story from leaking out. If the recently unearthed witness account is indeed correct, there might be something more to the story after all.

The latest witness account favoring the UFO camp came from a former local police enforcement officer who claimed to be on duty the night of the alleged crash, Mirror reported. Then Deputy Sheriff Charles Fogus, together with Sheriff Jess Slaughter, were en route to pick up a prisoner when they heard over the police radio about a downed alien craft.

The former deputy sheriff’s account on what happened that night in 1947 was published for the first time in a book written by Dr. Irena Scott. Titled UFOs TODAY: 70 Years of Lies, Misinformation & Government Cover-Up, the book re-examines the decades-long Roswell UFO controversy, taking into account the various researches and studies done on the subject by government agencies as well as the unique personal accounts of witnesses, including ex-Deputy Sheriff Fogus.

In the interview, Fogus claims to have seen a flying saucer crashing into the side of a river. He even gave an estimate on the size of the alien craft, saying that the UFO was 100 feet across.

When they reached the UFO crash site, Fogus said that there were already 300 to 400 soldiers in the area. The soldiers were busy hauling the occupants of the downed alien spacecraft. The former deputy sheriff even managed to see the bodies, describing them in great detail.

“The skin was a brownish colour…. Like they were in the sun too long,” Fogus described the skin color of the bodies recovered from the Roswell UFO crash site. He added that the occupants were around five feet tall and that their feet “looked like our feet.”

After staying in the area for around 20 minutes, they were asked to leave. They then proceeded to get the prisoner as they originally planned.

Despite governments all over the word trying to explain away UFO sightings as naturally occurring phenomena, sightings continue to mount worldwide. With the advent of smartphones capable of making video recordings, new witnesses have come forth, uploading their footages of supposed UFO activity on video sharing site YouTube.

The latest UFO sighting just happened in Somerset, England, when unusually-shaped lights floated above a hill, according to a Daily Mail report. The video lasts for a few minutes and was taken by a resident from Frome.

“I took this video from my house in Frome last night. It was over the Cley Hill area I think, which is always a hotspot for UFOs,” the resident who took the video explained.

The streaks of light were seen over Cley Hill, around two miles from the town of Warminster. The town is known as Britain’s UFO capital, with a number of UFO phenomena observed in the vicinity since the mid-60s.

It all started on August 17, 1965, when a large orange flame in the skies above the town was observed. Equally strange noises were heard at the time of the UFO sighting, which some residents described to be like a “detonation noise.”

Scholars believe that UFO sightings are not a modern day phenomena. In fact, evidence of ancient alien sightings may have been recorded in ancient artworks, according to Daily Mail. These include “The Annunciation, with Saint Emidius” painting where an object can be seen floating in the sky, Japan’s “Ume No Chiri,” the “Glorification of the Eucharist,” and the “Saint Wolfgang and the Devil” paintings to name a few.

While numerous studies about the phenomena have been conducted, they all remain inconclusive on whether spaceship riding aliens do exist. The Roswell UFO incident is a particularly tricky case to solve since it involved the secretive U.S. military, prompting many to speculate that a cover-up could have happened. This compelled some concerned citizens to band together to form a pressure group called The Disclosure Project with the intention of convincing the government to release UFO-related documents. Thus far, the group’s site claims to have gathered over “500 government, military, and intelligence community witnesses testifying to their direct, personal, first hand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology, and the cover-up that keeps this information secret.”

According to a report from CNN, residents from New York to North Carolina were supposed to be treated to the sight of “blue-green and red clouds” early on Saturday morning. This was because the NASA Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia’s eastern shore was preparing to launch the Terrier-Improved Malumute sounding rocket between 4:26 a.m. and 4:41 a.m. ET.

Unfortunately, that launch didn’t take place as scheduled, as NASA wrote earlier today in a press release confirming the postponement to Sunday, June 4, with the same launch window of 4:26 to 4:41 a.m. ET. According to the space agency, weather was a factor in previous postponements, but this time, it was another unforeseen event that forced the launch to be moved one day later.

“While the winds and skies were the issues the previous two launch attempts, this morning’s attempt was scrubbed because of boats in the second stage impact area.”

Had NASA’s Wallops facility gone forward with the rocket launch, the Terrier-Improved Malumute would have released 10 soft drink can-sized canisters, each loaded with colored vapor that would allow sky gazers to witness something akin to a light show. According to NASA, the clouds that appear when the vapor is released are created when barium, strontium, and cupric-oxide interact with each other. And while this may sound like a dangerous mix of elements, the space agency assured mid-Atlantic coast residents that the clouds do not pose any risk whatsoever due to the fact they would be formed about 100 miles above ground.

As seen on the above social media responses, many people have eagerly been waiting for NASA’s Wallops facility to launch the sounding rocket, waking up unusually early for three times, only for the launch to be scrubbed for one reason or another. NASA’s press release had extensively documented the previous times Wallops had prepared for the rocket launch before a series of last-minute hitches, mostly related to weather, pushed the event back.

This time, the last-minute hitch came in the form of boats in one of the impact areas, and it’s safe to say people are getting impatient and hoping that nothing will come in the way of the NASA Wallops “light show” on Sunday morning.

For those who are interested in checking tomorrow’s oft-delayed rocket launch, NASA wrote that the vapor tracers will potentially be viewable from New York to North Carolina, and as far west as Charlottesville, Virginia. Again, weather will play a factor in visibility, as clear skies would be ideal for the “light show” to be as visible as it should be. That’s because the eight-minute launch requires scientists to observe how the artificially colored clouds move from ground camera stations in Wallops and Duck, N.C.

CNN recommends that sky gazers near the East Coast look toward the eastern horizon starting at about 4:30 a.m. Those farther north in cities such as New York, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. would be able to view the NASA Wallops light show in the lower southeastern sky. Those in southern cities such as Norfolk and Virginia Beach are advised to look toward the northeast, while those in Richmond and Charlottesville would get the best view directly to the east.

If you don’t live in any of the aforementioned areas, NASA will be live streaming the event as it happens and will provide updates on the NASA Wallops social media pages. It’s still unsure when live streaming will kick off on Sunday morning, following this latest rescheduling.

Hillary Clinton knows aliens have visited Earth, says Dr Steven Greer.

It might sound unbelievable, but we’re currently living in an era that’s birthed the disclosure of some very sensitive information. So sensitive that despite all of the evidence, it’s still hard for many people to think about, let alone accept. And that’s the fact that there are now dozens of governments who have confirmed the existence of UFOs. We’re talking about mysterious objects performing maneuvers that defy our laws of physics. Apart from having both visual and radar confirmations, there are hundreds of military officers from all ranks, politicians and academicians speaking out and providing evidence that suggests some of these UFOs are indeed extraterrestrial.

One of the people responsible for this movement is Dr. Steven Greer, MD and founder of The Disclosure Project and The Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), who has been on a mission for decades to shed light on the fact that we’re not alone, that we’ve never been alone, and that an ET presence is currently engaging our planet and the human race.

This person has been able to organize and bring forth hundreds of military whistleblowers with verified backgrounds, who have given some shocking witness testimony.  Colonel Ross Dedrickson is one example; here is an interview Dr. Greer conducted with him over a decade ago.

Another example would be former Apollo astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell, who confirmed that himself and Greer did in fact have multiple meetings within the Pentagon about this issue.

One thing is for sure: Greer has some interesting connections that have allowed him to do what he does. He’s known as the father of the disclosure movement, for one person to bring forth hundreds of defence employees is quite eye-opening.

Out of all those who support him that come from different fields and verified backgrounds, Dr. Greer has amassed a great deal of credibility. Being in contact with, and referenced by astronauts, colonels, generals and more who have agreed to participate in the disclosure movement is what gives his project a special kind of credibility, because all those who agree to an interview do indeed come from where they say they do, within the military industrial complex. Never before have we seen such a large gathering, all with verified backgrounds.

Which is why, when he conducts an interview where the name remains anonymous, it’s that much more interesting. Sure, we can’t verify this person’s identify, but the hundreds of others who have been a part of his disclosure project, as well as all of the big names who have verified multiple stories from Greer, it’s probably best to give this one the benefit of the doubt.

“There is considerable knowledge as far as the actual being of UFO and ET phenomena that we’re aware of today.”

Other Information That Lends Credibility To This Story

According to Author and UFO researcher Dr. William Lester, the CIA released documents to him under the Freedom of Information act after he made a request while researching for his new book at the time, A Celebration of Freedom: JFK and the New Frontier. The document and story was brought forth by the Daily Mail, pertaining to a letter written by John F. Kennedy to the head of the CIA demanding to be shown highly confidential documents about UFOs just 10 days before his assassination.

According to the Daily Mail, “the secret memo is one of two letters written by JFK asking for information about the paranormal on November 12 1963, which have been released by the CIA for the first time.” 

It’s understandable that a Daily Mail article and a claim from a UFO researcher isn’t really considered credible, but what’s even more fascinating about the story is the fact that it also appears within some Wikileaks Cables.

February 27th, 2012, WikiLeaks began publishing The Global Intelligence Files; over five million emails from the Texas headquartered “global intelligence” company Stratfor. The emails date between July 2004 and late December 2011. They reveal the inner workings of a company that fronts as an intelligence publisher, but provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations, such as Bhopal’s Dow Chemical Co., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and government agencies, including the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marines and the US Defence Intelligence Agency. The emails show Stratfor’s web of informers, pay-off structure, payment laundering techniques, and psychological methods.

From these emails, we have one that details information that documents by a gentleman named Timothy S. Cooper, who, according to many, leaked the supposed “MJ-12” documents that dealt with the cover-up of UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon.

In the email, it states that “Soon after Kennedy became President, he began to needle the CIA for
information on UFOs” and  that “President Kennedy fired off a top secret memorandum to him outlining a previous discussion concerning a classification review of all CIA UFO files that could affect national security. Dated 12 November, 1963, just ten days before he would be gunned down in the streets of Dallas, Texas, Kennedy informed Angleton that he was setting things in motion to actually share sensitive CIA UFO intelligence data with the Russians through the director of NASA.”

The email itself goes into more detail.

The question to ask here is why is a company like Stratfor sending emails within the company regarding this topic?

Definitely interesting to think about.

Perhaps the most interesting fact is that JFK was President right around the time a massive cover-up regarding this topic ensued. Only a couple of terms before his own, President Harry Truman went on national television stating that this topic is discussed at every single conference they have with the military. The topic of flying saucers and “other things.” He stated that “there are always things like that going on” (source).

There are even claims that President Eisenhower held a meeting with extraterrestrials. His great granddaughter Laura is one who has spoken about the incident. You can read more about that specific story and where it comes from, here.

Today, Presidents don’t really know much. In fact, based on my research, when they do inquire they’re not told much and they don’t really have access nor a need to know information about UFOs and extraterrestrials. So who does?
