MYSTERIOUS footage of a “UFO” hovering above New York City has left the internet baffled.
The video – uploaded to YouTube by UFO investigators Secure Team 10 – shows a huge, black object floating in the sky.
Passing motorists filmed the phenomenon and the sheer size of the object meant that it could also be seen from nearby New Jersey.
Tyler – from Secure Team – said the person who filmed the video had felt “vibrations” before the aircraft appeared.
He added: “The source of this video made it very clear in his email… he said that at first he thought that it may have been one of those banners that are towed behind these planes that are advertising for people.

“But he said he soon realised that this object was far too large to have been a banner of any kind and he also says that there was ‘no plane in sight’.
“And he said that this object was just ‘hanging out’ in the sky.”
But some viewers of the mysterious video were left sceptical.
One wrote: “Isn’t it strange that every single UFO video is of a UFO far away? Rarely a video of someone who is underneath it or very close?”

Another added: “Can we get some good shots with a proper zoom someday?”
The clip comes as an incredible natural phenomenon was spotted and looked just like a scene out of Independence Day.
