UFO Sighting in Concord, California on 2018-08-03 17:27:00 – White orb appeared out of strange cloud formation and hovered about 49 feet then disappeared.

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

On august 3rd at exactly 5:25 p.M. i was in my backyard bird watching when i noticed a strange cloud formation that did not seem to have been there minutes prior. the cloud resembled a short contrail however there was no jet that could have created it as i had been birdwatching for roughly an hour already and would have noticed. at the time i was using my bushnell 7 x 35 binoculars so i directed my gaze at the cloud. less then a minute after directing my gaze at the cloud a strange white orb appeared out of the middle of the cloud slowly ascending about 40 feet in approximately ten seconds. at first the object resembled a white balloon as it was ascending but it soon came to a complete halt in mid-air without wavering. understanding that the mechanics of wind would not have allowed for this stillness i began to panic internally and gazed intently into the binoculars. the object now hovering appeared to have an underlying shape that extended below what i once thought was the white balloon. there appeared to be a gray stripe that outlined a curve along he bottom of the object. the underlying shape of the vehicle appeared to resemble that of an oval that gets wider at the bottom and has a flat bottom. i am under the impression that the white orb i was seing was a light that was being cast from the vehicle which at the time was being camouflaged. the object hovered for about 30 seconds before vanishing into thin air.
