UFO Sighting in Joliet, Illinois on 2018-05-24 21:35:00 – Bright light heading towards the northern star faded and re-appeared multiple times

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

I was outside star gazing with my neighbor when we noticed the light. he was showing me the northern star and i pointed out that there is a potential satellite headed toward the star. the light was at a medium speed when it faded out. a few seconds later, it re-appeared and faded out again. it re-appeared one last time before fading out completely. i thought it was a satellite but satellites don’t keep disappearing. it definitely was not an iridium flare either. when i saw the object, i was joyous and shocked that i had witnessed a second ufo like event. the object disappeared out of view since my neighbor’s house blocked it out.
