UFO Sighting in La Junta, Colorado on 2017-02-20 21:30:00 – Saw a brilliant golden/yellow flash 3 times.

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

On february 20, 2017 at about 9:30pm i was camping at the vogel canyon recreation area, about 10 miles south of la junta, co. it was very cloudy that night, and few stars were visible. i was watching a plane (?) come from the west as it went in and out of cloud cover. right near it, i saw 3 brilliant golden flashes in succession. it was very strange since it was a heavy cloud cover and i could see very few stars/planets shining through. the flashes were very, very bright….Brighter than anything else in the sky. i watched that area of the sky for over half an hour afterwards and saw nothing. i don’t think i have ever seen such a bright light in the sky….Ever. except the sun.
