Black Triangle Sighting in Eureka, Illinois on 1995-07-23 00:00:00 – Slow moving, low altitude ship with changing lights and afterglow/burn.

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

on the side of the road in the country near eureka,il early morning, four of us. it came at us slow out of the east, must have been 30mph in the air. so slow it seemed impossible for it to stay in the air. made a quiet, mechanical, jetlike noise. two long, parallel, white lights and a round, red light underneath the dark, star destroyer from star wars shaped craft. as the craft got close to us it shone what appeared to be a spotlight on us as we were standing outside of the car. once it had past our group the spotlight turned off and the round red light turned to blue. from the back it looked like an afterburner type exhausts in a pyramid shape with two on the bottom and one on top.

i think it was an earthborn vehicle but it was very weird and strangely slow. it came at us quietly and in a straight path, parallel to our position about 75yds north. we were all pretty freaked out when it shined a light on us but known to be a spot to see things. the craft flew away leisurely to our west, on a slow and straight path.
