UFO Sighting in Ramona, California on 1975-06-30 00:00:00 – Point of light like a star or satellite. same approximate brightness and size.

The following exert is an eye witness statement. Please read into it what you will. This has been reported to mufon who I am sure are investigating:

Viewing the country night sky through a telescope with my stepfather and i saw something pass quickly through the field of view. looked like a star/point of light. at first we thought it was a satellite as we had seen those before and they move in a straight line at a constant speed. i stepped back from the telescope, looked up in the sky, located the object but instead of a linear motion at a constant speed it moved quickly across the sky for about a foot (if you held out your arms and held up your forefinger on each hand about a foot apart) and then made very abrupt direction changes. it did this several times: straight then hard/immediate right or left hand turn with even a few very acute angle/almost complete reverse direction changes with no reduction in speed. then it shot up out of sight in about a second. no sound, appeared to be very far away.
